[RECAP] "3D Scan The World" Workshop: Empowering Digital Creativity with Van Lang University Students
Lumina Academy, in strategic collaboration with the Faculty of Digital Art and Design at Van Lang University, successfully hosted the intensive seminar series titled "3D Scan The World" in Ho Chi Minh City. The event delivered comprehensive, real-world insights into 3D production and Visual Effects (VFX) while providing an elite networking platform to help future digital artists map out clear career trajectories within the global creative technology landscape.
As digital content domains—including Gaming, Animation, VFX, and Virtual Production—undergo exponential growth, the demand for production-ready professionals who master studio workflows is more urgent than ever. This two-session workshop series was meticulously structured as a practical bridge, bringing Digital Art students closer to the rigorous standards enforced by premium international studios.

Comprehensive Curriculum and On-Site Immersive Experiences
Throughout the two-day educational seminar, Van Lang University students acquired a systematic understanding of the discipline through key academic activities:
1. The Global 3D Industry Landscape and Emerging Tech Paradigms
Industry veterans from Lumina Academy outlined the macroeconomic framework of the modern graphics market and dissected the technological transformations poised to dictate the digital art sector. This strategic overview allows students to proactively develop highly sought-after competencies, ensuring long-term professional adaptability.
2. Standard Production Pipeline Paradigms inside Modern Studios
Attendees explored the step-by-step lifecycle of a commercial 3D asset—advancing from initial ideation and concept art to digital sculpting, surface texturing, and final rendering pipelines. This segment aimed to transition students from an academic design mindset to commercial production methodologies.
3. Interactive Panels and Strategic Career Mentorship with Studio Experts

The live Q&A panel provided an authentic space for students to resolve bottlenecks regarding portfolio building, entry-level criteria of major recruiters, and the soft skills necessary to graduate into leadership roles (Lead/Senior Artist) down the line.
Complementing the technical presentations, the energy of the seminar remained exceptionally high due to interactive tracking sessions, structural mini-games, and premium tech gift packages provided by Lumina Academy to reward academic excellence.
Sustaining the Mission and Expanding the 3D Community Network
Lumina Academy extends its consensus of gratitude to the University Board, as well as the faculty members of the Faculty of Digital Art and Design at Van Lang University, for fostering an optimal environment and providing state-of-the-art infrastructure to ensure the event's execution. Most importantly, the intellectual curiosity and vibrant energy demonstrated by the student body remained the true catalyst of this seminar's success.

The "3D Scan The World" campaign will not conclude here. Moving forward, Lumina Academy is committed to expanding this educational pipeline to new academic destinations nationwide, continuing its core mission of delivering industry-grade knowledge and cultivating a powerful, globally competitive Vietnamese artist community.
